MEET THE SPEAKERS
Brad Keyes, CHSP, is a safety engineer and consultant to healthcare organizations for The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro, Inc., in Marblehead, MA. His expertise lies in the management of the environment of care, development of leadership effectiveness, and efficiency in work processes. This work focuses on life safety issues, assessing an organization’s preparedness for survey, evaluating processes in achieving preparedness, and guiding organizations toward compliance. He is a former life safety specialist for The Joint Commission.
Joseph Cappiello is chairman of Cappiello & Associates and the former vice president for accreditation field operations at The Joint Commission. He spent 10 years at The Joint Commission, directing key internal functions, as well as serving as a surveyor. He led Joint Commission initiatives on emergency management and disaster response, personally debriefing nearly 300 healthcare organizations following disasters.
