The Joint Commission caps some EP scores under emergency management
The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) has pulled back on fully scoring some provisions within its emergency management standards EC.4.11 through EC.4.18.
 
Further review urged on Boston biolab
The National Research Council, an independent advisory board made up of scientists, called on the federal government on May 2 to substantially expand its safety review of a controversial research laboratory that Boston University is building, reported The Boston Globe.
