Medical device-maker Atritech said last Monday it submitted its pre-market approval application for an implantable blood clot-fighting device to the FDA, the Pioneer Press reports.  
 
Owens & Minor announces plans to acquire The Burrows Company
Owens & Minor stated last week that it has signed an agreement to acquire certain assets and liabilities of The Burrows Company, a privately-held, Chicago-based supplier of medical and surgical supplies to the acute-care market, Business Wire reports.
