Consider liability, communication issues when hiring nonphysician providers
Dear Jim: We are continuing to hire nonphysician providers for our medical group. The scope of practice is expanding in our state, and these medical professionals are a great fit. However, I am wondering if our liability exposure will change. Also, can I send these physicians to a CME (Continuing Medical Education) program? Julie Gibbons Risk Manager San Antonio, TX
