| Should RN mean BSN? |
| The debate surrounding whether all nurses should be educated to a baccalaureate level or higher recently heated up as AONE joined the call for the BSN degree to be the minimum standard
As modern healthcare continues to evolve at lightening speed, there have been questions asked about whether the nursing profession will be able to keep up without a drastic overhaul of education and training.
The American Association of Nurse Executives (AONE) has long stated that advancements in medical technology and the continuing nursing shortage will present a multitude of challenges in the future, and that, therefore, the nursing profession must evolve to meet these challenges.
