| Barring significant change in status or discharge, the basic OBRA cycle of MDS assessments is as follows: comprehensive, quarterly, quarterly, quarterly, comprehensive. So the quarterly is the workhorse of the OBRA assessment schedule, providing critical resident assessment information between comprehensive assessments.
