| The first page of the January 15 revised draft MDS 3.0 states:
[I]tems that will appear in the final MDS 3.0 that CMS will release in the future may not appear in this current draft or may change from the version currently in this draft. Look-back periods may also change . Therefore, this document is a draft basic assessment record that may not include all items or versions thereof needed for tracking or non-nursing home providers and should not be used for staff training or when completing MDS 2.0.
