| LSC and other criteria will shape PFI completion dates |
| If you've developed plans for improvement (PFI) to fix deficiencies, most life safety specialists will review your submissions during a survey. Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) officials can also track your progress through the accreditor's electronic PFI system, in which you must file your improvement projects.
Citations remain high under EC.5.20, which requires compliance with the Life Safety Code® (LSC) and Statement of Conditions (SOC), and PFI deficiencies have played a part in this trend. |
