OIG concerned about adverse events case study results
Healthcare Auditing Weekly, December 23, 2008
In a case study of adverse incidents among Medicare beneficiaries, the OIG found that 15% of a random sample of hospitalized Medicare beneficiaries in two select counties experienced an adverse event during their stay.
