Joint Commission to study flu tests in physician offices

The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) has received funding from the CDC to assess the effectiveness of using rapid influenza tests in outpatient settings, including solo and group practice physician offices, and community health centers, the accreditor announced on October 29.
