CDC revamps online flu resource

With the influenza season rapidly approaching, the CDC unveiled its redesigned Seasonal Flu Web site, providing information for the general public, high-risk populations, and health professionals.
Infection control in healthcare facilities includes links to CDC summary documents, guidelines, and patient and worker educational resources.
A variety of training materials and posters are available free for downloading. A poster, "They count on you to get an influenza vaccine," emphasizes the importance of flu shots for healthcare workers in protecting patients, co-workers, and families.
