The Summer of Love is never-ending, apparently

Many of those who did drugs in the Sixties haven't stopped--or won't, according to a story this week appearing in the New York Times (but posted from hippie-happy Santa Cruz, Calif. ) Among Americans ages 35 to 54, there were 370,000 people treated in hospital emergency rooms for abusing illegal drugs in 2005, with overdose rates for heroin, cocaine, pharmaceuticals and drugs mixed with alcohol far higher than among teenagers, according to the story.
