A three-hour search by authorities revealed no bomb at a Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital on Tuesday after someone called in a threat.

Officials evacuated at least 2,000 patients, workers and volunteers from Bay Pines VA Medical Center in Seminole, FL, while police searched the 300-acre campus, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

A male who phoned the hospital indicated a bomb would go off at about 8:45 a.m., which would have coincided with the six-year anniversary of first jet crashing into the World Trade Center on 9/11, though there was no indication the threat was connected to the terrorist attacks. Authorities had made no arrests as of Tuesday, the Times reported.
