In every field of endeavor there are individuals who rise to the occasion and show great leadership. The Sharps Injury Prevention Award is given each year by the International Sharps Injury Prevention Society (ISIPS) to individuals who are making a difference in preventing needlestick injuries and bloodborne pathogen exposure.
The award program is open to everyone except ISIPS employees and corporate members. Nominations close September 30 with the winners announced during International Sharps Injury Awareness Month in December.
