OSHA and the EPA have a database of chemicals found in occupational settings. The database, which the agencies released on June 28, allows users to look up for chemicals by name, CAS number, and even chemical hazard characteristics such as permissible exposure limits, carcinogens, and skin exposure designations.

Search results include physical properties, exposure guidelines, emergency response information, and even spill-response measures.
