Government agency wants comments on safety suture needles

The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH) is inviting healthcare workers to comment on the recently issued safety and health information bulletin concerning the use of blunt-tipped suture needles, which was reported in the April 22 Medical Environment Weekly.
NIOSH will accept technical comments, new data, or research relevant to this topic until 5 p.m. Eastern time on July 27, 2007.
