AMA unveils new disaster journal

Emergency Management Alert, June 25, 2007

A new journal from the American Medical Association (AMA) will set its sights on the topics of disaster response and preparedness. The journal, Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness, will publish twice in 2007, and then quarterly in 2008 and beyond.

"Disasters are unplanned, but the response shouldn't be," said AMA President-Elect Ron M. Davis, MD, in a press release on the AMA Web site. For more, click here.
