OSHA renews alliance promoting biologically safe workplaces

OSHA's renewed alliance with the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) on March 1 will continue the efforts of the two organizations to develop preventive measures that address biological safety issues in the workplace.

Since 2002 OSHA and ABSA have been promoting a national dialogue concerning biological safety in the workplace and encouraging employers to incorporate biological safety strategies into their overall safety and health programs.
