Don't forget to post your annual OSHA injury summary

Here are two OSHA notes to be aware of:

  • Those of you covered by OSHA should post your 300A Form today as required by law. The form provides a summary of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred in 2006 and must remain posted in the workplace through April 30.
  • Meanwhile, OSHA has announced a partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Center for Ergonomics. The alliance will, in part, develop tools and training to reduce injuries to healthcare workers from patient lifting.

There is growing speculation that because the Democrats now control Congress, that they may once again push OSHA to develop an ergonomics standard.
