The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) designated the week after Thanksgiving, November 27-December 3, as National Influenza Vaccination Week, a time to stress vaccination in the upcoming months.
During flu week, the CDC recommends that people take this opportunity to receive a vaccination and that flu vaccine providers schedule additional clinics, extend clinic hours, and enable mass vaccinations at places such as retail locations.
Free posters, flyers, educational handouts, and other materials are available for downloading at the CDC's flu gallery.
