Gas main break forces an evacuation

About 100 residents were evacuated from a nursing home in Cincinnati, OH, after construction workers accidentally ruptured a nearby gas main.

Staff got the residents out of the building within eight minutes, fire officials told WLTW-TV in Cincinnati.

Authorities allowed the residents to return about 80 minutes later after the utility company repaired the line.
