Last week, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the National Quality Forum (NQF) announced the 2006 John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Awards.
There are four categories for which the honorees were selected:
- Individual achievment
- Research
- Innovation in patient safety and quality at a regional level
- Innovation in patient safety and quality at a local level
