Officials of a new hospital in Bensalem, PA, hope to have construction done in half the usual time by using prefabricated units.

The $38 million Comprehensive Breast Care Institute will open its doors in October, less than a year after construction first started, the Associated Press reported.

In the end, crews will have built about half of the 24-bed facility using modular units. It is the first time that builder Diversified Specialty Units of Nashville, TN, will attempt to construct a full-service hospital using its prefabricated components, according to the Associated Press.
