More than 60 customers and employees went to area hospitals after fumes filled parts of a Wal-Mart in Danvers, MA, on Saturday.

Local hazardous materials crews decontaminated victims on the scene before taking them to one of four hospitals, The Boston Globe reported. The medical centers treated and released them.

Authorities described the fume as an irritant, but as of Tuesday, they hadn't been able to say specifically what the substance was or its source, according to The Globe.
