U.S. workers consider slips and falls the greatest workplace hazard, according to a study commissioned by the National Safety Council (NSC) and reported during Workplace Safety Week, June 12-16.

The report also indicated that workers felt the risk of unintentional injury was lower at home than at work. This is a misconception as "national statistics show far more people are killed or injured from accidents occurring in and around the home than in the workplace," says the NSC.
