The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) has updated its online frequently-asked questions (FAQs) about the 2006 National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs).
The 41-page document includes new and updated questions and answers about:
- the applicability of NPSGs
- implementing the requirements
- how the goals will be surveyed
- specifics for each of the 14 goals
