Ergonomics standard? Doubt it

Those of you wishing for an ergonomics standard from the OSHA are out of lucky stars. The agency has no plans to beef up its ergonomics efforts beyond what inspectors already do, said OSHA head Jonathan Snare during a press call February 13.
"We're continuing with . . . the four-pronged approach" detailed on OSHA's Web site, Snare said. That approach combines industry-specific guidelines, outreach efforts, enforcement, and research on ergonomic topics.
