Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, has taken steps to protect patients after routine testing showed the presence of Legionella in its water system.

The hospital noted the results on February 7 and said that it is treating at least one patient for Legionnaire's disease.

Officials there are concerned that the patient may have contracted the illness from the water supply, according to a statement from Strong Memorial.
