NIOSH wants comments on anesthetics

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) will review and evaluate toxicity data for three halogenated anesthetic agents commonly used in hospitals.

In a Federal Register announcement this week, NIOSH seeks public comment about the health risks associated with occupational exposure to isoflurane, desflurane, and sevoflurane.
