For the second time in recent memory, a hospital had to evacuate patients and staff due to a boiler accident.

The latest incident occurred on Sunday at MaineGeneral Medical Center's Seton Unit in Waterville, ME, according to the Portland Press Herald. A boiler on the first floor of a six-story building exploded.

The blast was limited to the immediate area, but as a precaution the hospital shut down its second boiler, which in turn necessitated the evacuation, a hospital official told the Press Herald. No one was injured.

Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, relocated some of its patients following a boiler blast in December.
