Check for OSHA injury and illness posting exemptions

February 1 is the date OSHA requires employers to post a summary of job-related injuries and illnesses for the past year (OSHA form 300A), but some businesses are exempt from the posting requirement.

Healthcare facilities exempt from OSHA recordkeeping and posting requirements include

offices and clinics of medical doctors, dentists, osteopathic physicians, and other health practitioners such as chiropractors, optometrists, and podiatrists

medical and dental laboratories

health and allied services such as kidney dialysis centers and other specialty outpatient clinics

healthcare facilities with 10 or fewer employees
