The CDC updates its tuberculosis guidelines

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released its long-awaited update to the Guidelines for Preventing the Transmission of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Healthcare Settings.

The new guidelines apply to more settings than the CDC's prior version and also feature several important changes for healthcare facilities to check out.
