New HAZWOPER document guides emergency response

OSHA announced on December 14 the availability of a new Web-based safety and health guidance document to assist workers and employers in emergency response activity under the hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) standard.
The guide uses flow charts to outline compliance pathways for applying HAZWOPER to the workplace and training employees for work site response and cleanup tasks.
