Web site reveals OSHA violations by company

Working America, an AFL-CIO affiliate, has created the Job Tracker Web site which identifies businesses with a history of OSHA violations, reported the Associated Press November 17.
The violation database taps into the same information provided on the OSHA inspection Web site, but is more user friendly. In addition to citations and fines, Job Tracker compares a company's injury rate to the national average.
Searches on the Job Tracker site also identify companies that export jobs and violate labor laws.
