OSHA and the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) have renewed their alliance to improve safety and health in the workplace. The two organizations will emphasize preventive efforts and education in workplace violence and musculoskeletal disorders. Both organizations will promote the availability and use of automated external defibrillators in the workplace.
OSHA and AAOHN first created an alliance in May 2003. Since then their efforts have produced PowerPoint presentations on workplace violence and emergency preparedness and collaboration on bloodborne pathogens and workplace violence Web pages.
