Seminars to educate healthcare workers on dangerous drug exposures

Healthcare workers in the New England area can take advantage of free seminars on the handling of hazardous drugs in the next two weeks. Each seminar will present detailed information about sound handling procedures, effective engineering controls, and proper use of protective equipment.
OSHA, the Massachusetts Nurses Association, and the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety are sponsoring the half-day seminars:

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) also has a free publication, Preventing Occupational Exposure to Antineoplastic and Other Hazardous Drugs in Health Care Settings, which addresses much of the material to be covered in the seminars.
