Eight out of 10 hospitals surveyed in 2005 fielded questions about their annual evaluations of the environment of care (EC) plans.
This information comes from our ongoing online poll of hospitals visited this year by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Standard EC.9.10 requires facilities to annually review their seven EC plans. You'll want to focus on the plans' scopes, objectives, performances, and effectiveness.
If the JCAHO accredited your hospital recently, please tell us about your experiences through our anonymous poll.
