Hurricane-weary medical centers brace for more

Hospital workers along parts of the Gulf Coast gritted their teeth as they watched the path of Hurricane Rita, which passed over the Florida Keys Tuesday and was expected to make landfall somewhere along Texas or possibly Louisiana later this week.
Florida's state agencies helped oversee patient evacuations at four hospitals in the Keys, including transporting some patients by a C-130 military plane out of Lower Keys Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the Texas Hospital Association was asking hospitals in the storm path to identify what plans they had for evacuations.
