Now that the dog days of summer are upon us, it's important to encourage your patient population to protect against West Nile virus, which is most prevalent during this time of year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urges people to

  • use mosquito repellent

  • eliminate mosquito breeding sites

  • install or repair screens
