A 13-year-old girl who allegedly kicked and scratched two nurses and a sheriff's deputy during a scuffle got what was likely the shock of her young life.
In an attempt to subdue the teen--who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs--the deputy shot her with a Taser in Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL, according to The News-Press of Fort Myers.
His actions were consistent with the policies of the Lee County Sheriff's Department, authorities told The News-Press. The girl faces a variety of charges in connection with the incident.
