Study pegs healthcare worker death rate on the job

Researchers estimate that the annual death rate for healthcare workers from occupational infections and injuries is from 17 to 57 employees per million.
By their own admission, the researchers say their data isn't good enough and may in fact underestimate the rate. But the rate is the first attempt to tie in the dangers healthcare workers face as they seek to treat and save patients.
