FBI retracts wording about hospital threat

Those of you following the alleged terrorism probe in Lodi, CA-where the FBI charged a father and son with making false statements-may find it interesting that an original affidavit listed hospitals as a potential target, while a later affidavit filed in court rescinded that information.
"The FBI has no information about specific threats to hospitals and food stores," the agency said in a press release on June 8.
FBI spokespeople told the Los Angeles Times and New York Times that the original affidavit's information about hospitals was an oversight. You can read the FBI press release here.
