Chlorine vapors send hundreds to SC hospitals for treatment

A longtime fear came true for residents in Graniteville, SC, on January 6, when two freight trains collided just before 3 a.m. A ruptured tanker car carrying chlorine gas released its load into the atmosphere, killing nine people almost immediately and injuring hundreds more.
