CDC live webcast on nuclear and radiological terrorist response this week

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Public Health Training Network this week will feature a satellite broadcast and webcast about public health's response to a nuclear or radiological terrorist incident.
"The role of public health in a nuclear or radiological terrorist incident" program will begin at 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 3.
The hour-long broadcast will cover basic information about radiation and the roles and responsibilities of federal, state, local, and public health workers in a nuclear or radiological terrorist attack.
A panel of experts will answer questions, which can be telephoned in or sent via fax during the broadcast or by e-mail before the broadcast to rsb@cdc.gov.
