CDC to hold flu netconference

Emergency Management Alert, November 9, 2004

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will hold an influenza netconference on November 19 at noon EST.

The one hour session will target clinicians and combine a telephone audioconference with simultaneous online visual content. The program includes the following CDC speakers:
* Introduction and moderation by Will Atkinson, MD
* Influenza vaccine supply update by Ray Strikas, MD
* Antiviral medication for influenza by Tim Uyeki, MD
* Infection control measures to prevent influenza transmission by Arjun Srinivasan, MD
