Florida preps for another hurricane

Emergency Management Alert, September 6, 2004

Florida hospitals began evacuating last week as another hurricane made its way along the coast, CNN reported.

Reports that Hurricane Frances is on its way prompted state officials to mandate evacuations in at least a dozen eastern counties.

Weather officials predict the hurricane would be twice the size of Hurricane Charley, which slammed into Florida's coast in early August, causing billions of dollars worth of damage.
