September is National Preparedness Month
Emergency Management Alert, August 17, 2004
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other agencies plan to focus on citizen's emergency preparedness in September.
Through National Preparedness Month, DHS and other agencies will host a series of events in order to prepare citizens for emergencies. In particular activities will focus on increasing citizen awareness and the basic steps to prepare for emergencies.
