Firefighters and nurses evacuated 310 residents of an Orlando, FL, nursing home on October 21 after a fire tore through the facility's dining room, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

About a dozen residents from Westminster Care were taken to hospitals with minor injuries that included cuts, scrapes, and smoke inhalation. Buses took about 100 of the evacuees to other nursing homes because they weren't allowed back in their rooms. The state fire marshal will determine the cause of the blaze.

The fire started at about 9 p.m. in the dining room and grew into a three-alarm blaze.
