Dayton, OH, police arrested a Children's Medical Center nurse's assistant on September 18, charging him with unlawful sexual conduct with a 15-year-old boy being treated there, the Dayton Daily News reports.
Calvin Hensley, 46, of Germantown, OH, faces five years in prison, if convicted. The incident occurred on September 11. Hensley was assigned to care for the victim, who had been a patient at the hospital for more than three weeks.
The boy reported the incident to hospital authorities shortly after it allegedly occurred and has since been discharged from the facility. Hospital staff ensured the victim's safety and then called police; Hensley was immediately suspended and later terminated, hospital officials said.
Hensley, who had no prior criminal record, was hired by Children's two years ago as a patient care assistant who worked under a registered nurse's supervision.
