ASPR updates emergency preparedness rule compliance resource

 The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), a department within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that was formed after Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area in 2005, has issued a new set of updated resources to help healthcare facilities comply with the emergency preparedness rule, which went into effect last year and which hospitals must implement by November 16.
